By completing this course, you now: 

  • Understand what information security is and the importance of keeping information secure

  • Are familiar with some of the key legislation surrounding information security 

  • Understand the Lancaster University Information Security policy and your responsibilities

  • Understand information classifications and how to store and transfer information appropriately

  • Understand the basics of various threats to information security

  • Know how to better protect yourself from these threats

  • The following activity has to be completed:
    • "Quiz - LU Staff Information Security: Assessment"
